JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The record book will look much different after Saturday's game as North Florida women's basketball (2-1) set the program record for points and assists in a game in a 126-31 win against Trinity Baptist Nov. 13.
Ally Knights put on a display, posting 20 assists, while
Rhetta Moore put up 37 points to break teammate
Jazz Bond's single-game points record of 35.
The previous single-game points record was 110, set Nov. 9, 2019 against Warner, while the Ospreys broke the team assists record with 43, 10 more than the previous record set against West Georgia, Nov. 18, 1995.
Knights is the first Osprey in program history to reach 20 assists, seven more than Krista Wynn's mark of 13 set against Mississippi University Nov. 17, 1995. Bond put up 35 points in a win against North Alabama last year, the previous single-game points record before Moore reached 37.
