Women’s Basketball Bests Webber for Third Straight Win

Jazz Bond Drops 20-Point and 15-Rebound Double-Double

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jazz Bond posted her third double-double of the year and four Ospreys reached double-digit scoring as North Florida defeated Webber, 83-59, to post their third-straight win Thursday, Nov. 18. 

The Ospreys are 3-0 at home this year and off to their best start since the 2016-17 season. Jazz Bond, Jaida Bond, Rhetta Moore and Nubia Benedith all reached at least 10 in the points column.

  • First Half: UNF outscored Webber, 33-20, in the second quarter and got 13 from Jazz Bond alone to take an 11-point lead into the break … UNF led 26-24 before going on  20-11 run the rest of the way.
  • Second Half: Ally Knights drilled a couple three-pointers while Tatiana Thompson, Jazz Bond and Jaida Bond all chipped in five in the third frame as UNF turned in a quarter-high 10-0 run … North Florida didn't budge, allowing only seven points in the fourth frame, keeping Webber to 3-for-16 from the field.
