FORT MYERS, Fla. - Several swimmers posted season-best times against FGCU, but North Florida swimming fell 171-104 Saturday against the Eagles.

"It was a good meet today. I am very happy with our swims. Ryan Showfety swam a great 1650 to start off the individual events. Ashley Cozad won the 100 free and Esther Quackenbush and Sydney Groth got first and second in the 100 fly. I think our team is happy to have a full week to prepare as we finish up our dual meets against Georgia Southern." - head coach Ian Coffey.

Notes

Groth swam her season-best time in the 200 fly, while Sheppard also shaved a second off her time.
In the 50 free, Kephart and classmate Sarah Shiers both swam their season-best.
Cozad took more than a second off her time in the 100 free to come in first.
Quackenbush crushed her time in the 100 fly to take first and post the team's best time of the season.
