Several Swimmers Post Top Times at FGCU

FORT MYERS, Fla. -  Several swimmers posted season-best times against FGCU, but North Florida swimming fell 171-104 Saturday against the Eagles.

"It was a good meet today. I am very happy with our swims. Ryan Showfety swam a great 1650 to start off the individual events. Ashley Cozad won the 100 free and Esther Quackenbush and Sydney Groth got first and second in the 100 fly. I think our team is happy to have a full week to prepare as we finish up our dual meets against Georgia Southern." - head coach Ian Coffey.Â

- Groth swam her season-best time in the 200 fly, while Sheppard also shaved a second off her time.
- In the 50 free, Kephart and classmate Sarah Shiers both swam their season-best.
- Cozad took more than a second off her time in the 100 free to come in first.
- Quackenbush crushed her time in the 100 fly to take first and post the team's best time of the season.
