JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF volleyball continues non-conference play with two matches at UCF this weekend.
1. Last Time Out
TAMPA, Fla. - UNF hit .304 in the second set to even things at one, but USF's (2-0) 13 blocks allowed the Bulls to take the match in four Saturday, Jan. 23.
Bre Walp led the Ospreys (0-2) with 10 kills on .368 hitting in her second game in the Navy and Gray.
2. Series History
UNF and USF have met six times … Their first-ever meeting was in 2005 … The last time UNF and UCF played was in 2013 … They've played five times in Orlando … UNF last won against UCF Nov. 8, 2005.
3. Starting Off Right

Kailey McKnight posted 14 kills in her collegiate debut Friday, Jan. 22 vs. USF. It was the most kills by a North Florida freshman making her collegiate debut since teammate

4. Keeping it 1,000
Graduate student
Gabby O'Connell is leading UNF with 20 kills after the opening weekend. The outside hitter from Gainesville is UNF's active leader in kills with 965, looking to become just the fourth Osprey in UNF DI history to surpass the 1,000-kill milestone.
5. Scouting Report
The Knights are 1-0 after defeating FAU 3-1 January 26 ... UCF also won in their uncounted exhibition against FAU the day before ... UCF is coming off a 25-8 2019 season in which it went 14-2 in conference en route to an American Athletic Conference Championship … The Knights defeated No. 1 Cincinnati in the title match and eventually went on to defeat Florida State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament … UCF was selected to repeat at AAC Champions, claiming 10 of 11 first-place votes in the conference preseason poll … UCF lost five from the 2019 roster while returning AAC Preseason Player of the Year McKenna Melville and preseason all-conference selection Anne-Marie Watson.
