LAST WORD
"Couldn't be prouder of the resiliency of these guys. After getting road win Thursday night at NJIT and then traveling to FGCU and fighting through some nagging issues. Give credit to the guys as well as the staff especially athletic trainer Coach (Fred) Burnett for doing everything to get the guys ready to go. We never let ourselves lose the belief in what we were doing and that allowed us to just keep fighting and battling through challenges. Garrett kept telling the team in timeouts and on the floor that we just needed to keep grinding. Our guys did that and were able to make huge stops down the stretch that turned into some really good offense resulting in several dagger threes. Give our guys credit as they just kept being us throughout the game. We are excited to be back home Thursday. " -- Head coach
