BOCA RATON, Fla. - North Florida dropped an extra-inning game to Illinois State before bouncing back with a an 8-6 win against Hofstra. The games, originally slated for Saturday, were postponed to Sunday to let the field conditions improve.

How it Happened
- Illinois State got on the board when the first batter reached on an error and advanced to second. A sac bunt moved her to third where she scored on a ground out for the 1-0 lead.
- In the top of the third, Rebecca Koskey had a double before coming around to score on a single to left field and an error on the play.
- With the game knotted through seven, it headed into extras with international tie breaker in place.
- A fielder's choice and an error allowed two runners on before a single allowed the run to score and end the game.

How it Happened
- In the first, a single RBI plated a run for the pride before Shannon Glover hit a home run to left center to tie the game.
- The Ospreys plated a pair of runs on Paige Pfent's single up the middle to make it 3-1. Koskey led off with a single before being replaced by Taylor Engman. Glover reached on a fielder's choice and an error allowed Engman to stay put for Pfent's hit.
- Hofstra took the lead with three runs in the fifth, 4-3.
- On the Osprey side of the sixth, Koskey came up big with a home run to lead off before a walk and an error put two on with no outs.
- A sac fly brought in the second run before a single from Logan Jackson put two aboard.
- Rindy Bryant pinch hit in a big way with a two-RBI double before coming home on a single from Elaina Lukas.
- A leadoff walk and two hits with two outs brought Hofstra to within 8-6, but Morgan Clausen got the final batter swinging to secure the win.
NOTES
For the weekend - Koskey hit .615 with four RBI on eight hits.
Pfent led the way with six RBI.on four hits.
UNF posted 13 multi-base hits on the weekend.
