Looking Ahead |
The Ospreys host Lipscomb Saturday, Feb. 22 before taking on Liberty Monday (2/24) |
JACKSONVILLE - North Florida returns home for a trio of games beginning with North Alabama and Jacksonville.
THREE POINT THREAT
The Ospreys are 43 three-pointers shy of matching the program record and if they continue to average six or more per game - the record set by the 2015-16 quad may be broken. That team had 200 triples. In addition to makes, the Ospreys are accurate as they lead the conference in three-point percentage and rank 59th in the nation with a 34.4 percent clip. In league play, the Ospreys are shooting 35.5 percent from long range and have 72 makes.
BOARD IT UP
Senior Adrienne Jackson ranks 36th in the country in total rebounds (224) and 49th in rebounds per game (9.3). She ranks seventh in career caroms with 596 and is behind former UNF great Nancy Miller's 619.
DOUBLE THE FUN
North Florida set the UNF D1 record in double-doubles with a pair from Adrienne Jackson and Jazz Bond at NJIT. This season four players have had double-doubles: Jackson (8), Janesha Green (4), Bond (6) and Dasha Eremeeva (1).
