LAST WORD - Head Coach Matthew Driscoll
"It's been an interesting last 48 hours going back to the Flagler loss but to these guys credit they came out tonight with the right approach, the right energy. I thought the first 10 minutes of the game, we were really locked in on what we needed to do defensively and the offense just took care of itself. I thought we shared the ball well and were just doing a lot of things well. Our inexperience showed a little late in the first half as we lost our focus on what we had been doing. I was disappointed and shared that with the guys at the half. We did some nice things. Having five guys in double figures and Josh (Endicott) with a double-double is nice. We did have some turnover issues and that is an area that we need to clean up. Over the break, we are going to figure some things out, figure out some rotations and prepare for ASUN play. Hopefully, we will also get to bring Carter (Hendricksen) back into the mix as well which can help shore some things up."
NEXT UP
North Florida will take 10 days off from competition over the holiday break before returning to action in the New Year with ASUN play starting Jan. 1-2 against in-state foe Stetson in DeLand, Fla. UNF tips off home ASUN play on Jan. 8-9 versus Kennesaw State.
