Wright's Words
"I'm proud of our day and I think that we came out strong and very efficient in our first match!," head coach
Kristen Wright said. "We were less efficient offensively in the second match, and UNCW did a nice job of containing a few of our players. Our defense held us in there though, and we really rallied off of Rocio's performance. She's averaging 6.14 digs per set and passing well over half of our court. We knew we had to be patient and I'm excited about the base we are beginning match play with. It's all about improving each time we get to play."
Up Next
The Ospreys will stay in Wilmington to take on Duquesne tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. from Hanover Hall on the campus of UNCW.
