Behind the Line Score
  • UNF scored first, jumping out to a 1-0 lead after the top of the first. Tanner Murphy reached on a throwing error by shortstop Jorge Arenas and on the next pitch David Maberry laced an RBI single down the left field line. Murphy scored easily on the play as the throw came towards second, getting Maberry in between first and second.
  • Stetson quickly took the lead, scoring two in the bottom of the first. Andrew MacNeil singled up the middle and advanced to second on a Jacob Koos walk. Jorge Arenas laced an RBI single to center and Koos eventually scored after evading a double play, earning a six-to-four RBI fielder's choice.
  • Five singles in the third put UNF ahead 4-2. Tanner May stroked one to center before Chris Berry took a curveball and rolled a hit through the right side. Wes Weeks fought off an inside pitch for a single through the right side and Murphy scored two after taking a 3-2 offering through the left side. Weeks was picked off second, but on the rundown Murphy took second. Maberry got jammed but found green in center, scoring Murphy.
  • Stetson got one back in the sixth. Kyle Ball opened the sixth with a single and eventually scored after the Hatters drew three free passes.
  • The Hatters did some damage, scoring three in the sixth. Foggo led off with a walk and took second with a wild pitch. Baylen Sparks singled to center, putting runners at the corners. Ball hooked a double down the left field line before Noah Dickerson tagged a two-RBI double past Berry and inside the bag at first. Norkus limited the damage by getting consecutive strikeouts.
  • Norkus turned in 2.1 innings of relief before being replaced by Eddie Miller after a single and a sac bunt in the ninth. Miller was nails though, getting a foul out before fanning pinch hitter Mark Townsend after an eight-pitch at-bat.
