Behind the Line Score
- The Ospreys took a 3-0 lead in the third. Max Law dribbled an infield single along the third base line before Chris Berry grinded out a nine-pitch at-bat that resulted in a walk. Wes Weeks took a high and outside fastball to right center for an RBI single, scoring Law. After a Tanner Murphy stolen base, David Maberry continued last night's hot hitting with a two-RBI single back up the box.
- Stetson plated its first run in the third. Nick Cardieri walked and Austin Bogart lined a single to center. Andrew MacNeil executed a sacrifice bunt before Jacob Koos scored Cardieri with a sac fly to Blake Marabell down the left field line.
- The Hatters got even in the fourth, pushing Brandon Reitz from the game. Jorge Arenas singled before a one-out walk to Kyle Ball made it first and second. Noah Dickerson rolled an RBI single through the right side, scoring Arenas. Cardieri plated Ball with a safety squeeze bunt that was mishandled by Reitz, putting runners at first and second. Bogart tagged a single to center as Reitz was relieved by Zach Chappell. On Chappell's second pitch, MacNeil casted a flyout to Blake Marabell in left before the Ospreys got Dickerson out on appeal after the freshman left third early.
- A big two-out RBI single put the Ospreys back up, 4-3, in the fifth. After Murphy reached on a fielder's choice, Maberry and Jay Prather drew consecutive walks. Marabell took a Vlad Nunez curveball to center for an RBI base knock, scoring Murphy.
- A pesky effort by the Hatters put them on top, 6-4, after five. Koos poked a single through the left side to start the inning, stole second and moved to third on a wild pitch. Arenas got sawed off and rolled one to Law at third, but a muffed throw to first allowed him to reach as Koos scored. Kyle Ball clubbed an RBI double to the corner in left and took third after the ball was mishandled by Marabell. One pitch later Dickerson completed the inning's scoring with an RBI single to left.
- UNF made it interesting in the ninth, getting the tying run to second. Berry worked his fourth walk of the day, followed up by a Weeks walk. Murphy went down swinging but Maberry stayed in on an 0-2 curveball to drive Berry in with an RBI single up the middle. Nunez got the final out on a Prather pop out to shortstop.
