Alex Reynolds was hit by a pitch and Maberry turned on a pitch to single inside the third base bag, scoring two for an 8-3 lead.
- UNF jumped over a fielding error by Dubrule to go up 10-3 in the sixth. - Reitz settled in from the fourth through seventh inning, retiring 10 consecutive batters during UNF's offensive outburst.
- Trace Norkus entered for Reitz after back-to-back JU singles started the eight. The senior rolled a double play, Berry to Prather and on to Reynolds, and got Jacob Southern to pop out.
- Patience at the plate and some wild tosses from JU righty Ethan Sander pushed UNF's 11th run across. Weeks and Reynolds walked and Sander spun two wild pitches, plating Weeks.
