Behind the Line Score
- UNA went ahead, 1-0, in the second after Reig Singewald doubled and Peyton Sockwell singled him home.
- Wes Weeks' monstrous weekend continued and helped UNF take a 3-1 lead in the third. Walks to Blake Marabell, Chris Berry and Tanner Murphy loaded the bags with one out. Austin Hurwitz plated Marabell with a sac fly and Weeks singled in two with a base knock.
- A pair of walks ended up resulting in two UNA runs in the fourth, tying it at three.
- Marchese and Lions' reliever Bryant Claunch settled in through the middle innings as the 3-3 stalemate ran into the seventh. UNF had a scoring opportunity in the sixth after Weeks singled and stole second, but Claunch escaped the threat after getting Abraham Sequera to fly out to end the inning.
- The Lions scored the eventual game-winning run in the seventh, using a walk once more. A leadoff walk, hit by pitch and single made it 4-3 Lions.
- Two more hit batsmen, three singles, a steal, sacrifice fly and sac bunt all added up to UNA's four-run eighth.
- The Ospreys got the tying run to the plate in Jay Prather in the ninth, but Claunch was able to coax a fly out to earn the win in long relief.
