JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The University of North Florida Athletics Department along with UNF Campus Life and Student Government have partnered to create a new opportunity for UNF students to engage with athletics and other events on campus.
 
The new Osprey Nation Student Rewards app contains a listing of every home UNF athletic event, allowing students to check-in through the app, select the corresponding event and accumulate points to redeem rewards such as coupons, UNF swag and exclusive experiences.
 
The app will also offer other features including a fan cam, polls, a leaderboard to track point totals among students and other elements of social media integration.
 
"We are excited to announce the new Osprey Nation Student Rewards app in partnership with UNF Campus Life and Student Government," said University of North Florida Director of Athletics Lee Moon. "This app will be a great tool for UNF students to engage with UNF Athletics and the campus community as a whole. We are always looking for ways to serve our students and we feel this app will provide them with another tool to experience the Swoop Life."
 
Community First Bank has worked with the UNF Athletics Department in creation of the app as the presenting sponsor. A number of perks will be offered for students who download the app during April 2019.
 
A micro-website is available in conjunction with the app where students can go through FAQs, check points leaderboards, view rewards, see rules and generally learn about maximizing their use of the app.
