JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - UNF men's tennis (12-10, 5-2 ASUN) secured the number-three seed in the ASUN Championship with a sweep of North Alabama (3-16, 1-16 ASUN) to send off seniors Sahil Deshmukh and Till Von Winning on Senior Day Saturday, April 13, at the UNF Tennis Complex.

Charley Castaing and Till Von Winning won their second match as a pair and Federico Nani and Jorge Nunez raced to a 6-1 win at the second slot as the Ospreys clinched doubles.

UNA won just one set through all six singles matches, earning UNF its first 7-0 sweep of the season. Deshmukh notched his 19th singles triumph of the year and 74th of his career to cap off the day, winning a 10-point tiebreaker.

Coach Lucas' Comments
"It was a great team win and a comprehensive result, which is what we needed to carry some positive momentum going into the tournament. I just feel like we are all coming together and playing some of the best tennis of the year and are peaking at the right time heading into the conference tournament. I'm really proud of the two seniors. They embody what it is to be an Osprey and compete for our tennis team and our program. They are great representatives of what we aspire to have as leaders on our team. I was very happy that they were both able to get wins today.
