JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Senior
Sydney Matzko surrendered just two hits in a complete game shutout and North Florida softball added late game runs to down Georgetown, 5-0, on Wednesday evening at the UNF Softball Field.

How it Happened:
- Neither team could get a rhythm as the game remained scoreless through four.
- The Ospreys (9-6) got on the board in the bottom of the fifth when pinch hitter Mary Rodriguez laid down a bunt which Georgetown failed to lay a tag at home, allowing Tiffany Lower to score. Lower led off the inning with a double.
- Later in the inning a double from Dominica Cocuzza and a single from Paige Pfent allowed another run to come in for the 2-0 lead.
- In the sixth, a single and double put two on. Navia Penrod then towards third base to allow Taylor Engman to come in. Engman pinch ran for Ashley Goebel who led off with a hit.
- With two on and just one out, Katelin Davis doubled down the line to secure two more runs for the 5-0 win.
