ABOUT YOUR OSPREYS
  • Traveling to Newark is always a challenge as the Ospreys have to prepare to go to indoor courts. The Ospreys grabbed a 4-3 win at NJIT last season.
  • North Florida is riding eight straight wins after sweeping Stetson on Saturday, March 23. It was the first time UNF shutout the Hatters in program history.
  • Currently on a seven-match win streak, freshman Ana Paula Melilo owns a team-best 9-4 mark in singles play. She is 7-1 in her last eight matches and 17-9 overall on the year.
  • Melilo has paired with Valendtina Mariotto in the No. 3 doubles spot to win five straight and post a 6-1 mark in that spot.
  • Rafaela Gomez and Constanza Gorches have each won six consecutive singles matches in their respective spots. Gomez is 7-5 in dual matches, while Gorches is 6-2.
  • Lucia Montano and Florencia Rossi own seven straight wins in the No. 2 doubles position including clinching the point for UNF against Stetson.

Against Our Opponent
  • North Florida is 4-0 against NJIT in the two team's brief history.
  • Last season, UNF bested NJIT, 4-3 in Newark. The Highlanders picked up the doubles point, but Gomez, Luise Intert and Valentina Mariotto grabbed wins before then-freshman Florencia Rossi battled back in the No. 6 spot to secure the victory.
  • In the meetings prior to last season, the Ospreys had only given up one point to NJIT.

NJIT HIGHLANDERS
