Behind the Line Score
- Deppermann made a slick barehanded play on a tapper towards the line to get the second out in the second inning. With Lions on second and third, Deppermann got inside on AJ DiFillipo, getting him to roll over to Alex Reynolds at first and end the frame.
- Reynolds reached on a two-out walk in the second and advanced to second after a catcher's interference with a 2-2 count allowed Blake Marabell to reach. Chris Berry drove Reynolds in with a seeing-eye single up the middle, putting UNF ahead, 1-0.
- Tanner Murphy tracked down a deep fly ball off the bat of Liam McGill, ending Columbia's fifth with runners on first and second.
- Eddie Miller entered for Deppermann in the top of the seventh after the righty spun 103 pitches, fanning nine while allowing four hits and four walks. Miller fanned one and picked off a Lion at first to end the top of the seventh.
- The Lions scored the game-tying and game-winning run in the eighth. Joe Engel walked and Liam McGill reached on an infield single in the hole at shortstop. Pinch hitter Austin Mowrey put down a bunt that Miller fielded and fired errantly to third, allowing all runners to stand safely.
- Trace Norkus entered for UNF. Josh Nicoloff drove tied the game with a sac fly down the right field line. Norkus got the next two guys to strikeout, but on second punch out a wild pitched was uncorked, allowing Columbia's Ben Porter to score the game winner.
- UNF was set down in order in each of the next two innings.
