Behind the Line Score
  • Patience at the plate earned UNF a 1-0 lead after the first. Wes Weeks singled into center before walks to Jay Prather, Tanner Murphy and Chris Berry plated Weeks. Columbia got out of the jam with a strikeout and inning-ending double play.
  • The Ospreys went ahead 3-0 in the bottom of the second. Blake Marabell hit a ringing double off the wall in left and scored on Tanner Clark's single to left center. Weeks got things going with two outs, working a walk before stealing second and scoring on Prather's RBI single to right center.
  • Columbia scored its third unearned run of the series in the third. Josh Solomon reached on a fielding error at third base, moved to second on a sacrifice bunt and advanced to third on the play. Julian Bury drove him in with an RBI groundout to Prather.
  • UNF got the leadoff batter on for the third straight inning on a rope from Berry. He swiped second and scored on Alex Reynold's RBI single up the box.
  • Liam McGill belted a two-run home run to right and Solomon drove in Josh Nicoloff with a two-out single through the right side, tying it at four.
  • Both teams were held scoreless for two and a half innings before Columbia went ahead, 5-4, in the seventh. Back-to-back two out walks setup McGill, who roped a line drive to Berry's left at third, getting under his glove to score Bury.
  • The leadoff runner reached for UNF in the eighth, paying dividends. Berry walked, was bunted to second by Tanner May and scored by Reynolds' RBI double halfway up the wall in right, tying it at five.
  • Tanner Clark finished a marathon at-bat with a two-out, two-run home run tucked inside the right field foul pole in the bottom of the eighth.
  • UNF couldn't hold a 7-5 lead in the ninth as Columbia evened the score, scoring the tying run on a wild pitch.
  • Columbia exploded for four runs in the ninth, finishing with 14 hits. The biggest blow was a two-RBI triple into the right field corner from AJ DiFillipo.

Behind the Line Score
  • McGill hurt the Ospreys in the first inning, doubling deep to straight away left, scoring Bury from second base.
  • UNF put a four spot up on the board in the third. Walks from Max Law and Austin Hurwitz put two on. Weeks flied out to right center, moving Law up 90 feet. Prather stroked a single to center and after a Murphy single, May clubbed a two-RBI double down the left field line as UNF went ahead, 4-1.
  • The back-and-forth continued in the top of the fourth when Columbia plated two. Nick Tanner walked and DiFillipo along with Porter doubled, cutting their deficit to 4-3.
  • Logan Clayton and May teamed up for their second daylight pickoff play of the game in the fifth. With runners at second and third, Clayton fired to May to pickoff Columbia for the third out.
  • Two runs via two sacrifice flies gave UNF a 6-3 cushion in the bottom of the sixth. Reynolds opened the frame with a walk and Law singled to left. Weeks and Prather scored them with consecutive sacrifice flies.
  • The Lions cut into UNF's lead with one in the eighth. McGill singled, Nicoloff walked and Tanner moved the catcher to third with a deep fly out to center. Bowling uncorked a wild pitch, plating McGill. After a lineout and a walk, Eddie Miller replaced Bowling and recorded the third out on a fly out down the left field line.
