UNF Athletics, 930 AM The Game Announce Osprey Hour Radio Show

Weekly Radio Show Begins February 4 at 6 p.m. EST
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The North Florida Athletics Department and "930 The Game - Jacksonville's Sports Leader" have worked together to form the Osprey Hour, a weekly radio show that will air live on Monday evenings from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for the rest of the spring 2019 semester.
"This is a great opportunity for us at the University of North Florida to have a radio show air at that hour each week," North Florida Director of Athletics Lee Moon said. "Our student-athletes, coaches and administration accomplish great things across all of our athletics programs and we look forward to how the Osprey Hour can share those accomplishments to the spectrum of Osprey fans across the region of Northeast Florida."
The first edition of the weekly hour-long segment will be Monday, February 4 and can be heard on 930 AM or streamed via iHeart Radio. The Osprey Hour can be heard for the rest of the semester with the potential to be continued again this following August in conjunction with the start of the fall athletics schedule.
Brian O'Brien and Anthony Hannah will co-host the show, which aims to highlight accomplishments of student-athletes, interesting stories and notable events within the department. Each installment will feature 40 minutes of on-air content comprised of two interviews with coaches, student-athletes, administration or other members affiliated with UNF Athletics. Book-ending the interviews will be two ten-minute spots, with one focusing on recapping the previous week in athletics before concluding the show with a look ahead to upcoming events, marketing efforts or announcements.
"We are thrilled to have UNF athletics as a featured part of our weekly line-up," said Seth Harp - 930 "The Game" Program Director. "To have an hour, every Monday at 6 p.m., dedicated to just the Ospreys is something that is long overdue here in Duval."
More details and further promotions of the Osprey Hour are to come as the semester continues.
