Bond nailed a triple with 12 seconds left in the first half to put North Florida up 30-18 - its biggest lead of the game. She finished with a season-high four.

INSIDE THE GAME

  • The Ospreys then answered back with scores of their own to lead 14-6 after one.
  • The Colonels hit a three in the first seconds of the second quarter before both teams went without a point for more than three minutes.
  • Bond scored 11 of her 14 points in the second quarter to give North Florida its biggest lead, 30-18, at the half.
  • The third quarter saw Nicholls chip away at the Ospreys lead, eventually making it a 37-33 game, but UNF ended the quarter on a 9-2 run to lead 46-35 after three.
  • In the final frame, a 10-4 stretch for the Colonels put them within 57-56, but Tolbert made a three-pointer on the other end to slow the visitors.
  • Nicholls held UNF to one point for almost two minutes, while tying the game on a three from Tykeria Williams.
  • After a timeout, Eremeeva got the ball inside and did a spin move to lay the ball in and draw the foul. She successfully converted the free throw with three seconds left.
  • As time wound down, it was fitting that Bond got a final block on Nicholls last second attempt.
