SEASON WRAP UP
North Florida wraps up the 2019 cross country season. The Ospreys' best meet of the season was at the Mt. Dew Invitational where they placed third out of 35 teams. Camryn Cooney and Grace Gumpel both led UNF, each coming in first for the Ospreys in three meets.Â
PIGG'S POINTS
Overall
"Our girls ran fine today. I feel like we competed well but the end result wasn't what we hoped it would be. We're young and that inexperience probably cost us today as we got out too slow and when that happens at this level it is hard to overcome."Â Â
Individually
"Camryn led the way today. She looked good and ran her best 6K ever. She is a hard worker and I'm glad she finished the season on such a strong note."
"Grace just continues to be a top runner for us. Once again she stepped up and ran at the front of our pack."
"Raquel had another top 3 finish for us. She has worked really hard and it's a thrill to see her have such success."Â Â
"Tina Cesnik closed the season strong. She has continued to make progress over the last few weeks after an early season setback and this will send her into track season strong and ready to race her favorite event the mile!"
"Chelsea rounded out her season with her best 6K and has made some big gains and it is a good spring board for the future."
