JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The home finale and regular season finale are on the docket this weekend as volleyball continues its push for an ASUN Championship berth with matches against Lipscomb and UNA.

Taryn Griffey surpassed 300 career kills and became the UNF Division I solo blocks record holder, although visiting Liberty (17-9, 10-4 ASUN) topped the Ospreys (14-16, 6-8 ASUN) 3-1 Sunday, Nov. 10. North Florida remains on the cusp of an ASUN Championship berth, needing a win or a Jacksonville loss. Both teams have two conference matches remaining.

Lipscomb holds the all-time series lead, 23-3 ... The first meeting between the two teams was Nov. 4, 2005 ... The Bisons took the first meeting between the two teams, 3-0, Oct. 20 ... With a win UNF clinches a spot in the ASUN Championship slated for Nov. 21-23 in Fort Myers, Fla. The Ospreys would also clinch a spot with a Jacksonville loss to either Lipscomb or Kennesaw State, its two remaining conference contests. UNF is currently sixth in the league and one win ahead of the Dolphins, while holding the tiebreaker.

The Wildwood, Mo., native notched her 49th solo block at UNF, passing Morgan Van Alstine for the most solo blocks in UNF DI history ... She also eclipsed 300 blocks for her career against the Flames ... Griffey is 15 kills from becoming the first Osprey to have 1,000 kills and 300 blocks in the program's Division I era.
