JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Despite holding a three-point lead with four minutes remaining, North Florida surrendered a 19-8 Jacksonville run as the Ospreys fell 80-72 on Tuesday night at UNF Arena.
The Ospreys drop to 7-10 (2-4 ASUN) while the Dolphins improve to 11-8 on the season and 4-2 in ASUN contests.

Inside the First Half
The two teams traded baskets while shooting 50 percent or better in the opening quarter as the Ospreys held a 16-14 lead. Bond paced the Ospreys with eight points on 3-of-4 shooting from the floor.
UNF extended its lead to as many as four points on three different occasions in the second quarter before Bond buried a triple with 35 seconds left to give the Ospreys a four-point advantage at halftime.

Adrienne Jackson added a trey as the Ospreys stretched their lead to 44-35 with 6:13 left in the third quarter. Jacksonville cut into the UNF lead with a 17-10 run to end the quarter as the Ospreys took a 54-52 lead into the fourth quarter.
Bond connected from beyond the arc with 4:09 remaining to break a 61-61 tie. The Dolphins responded with a 9-0 rally over the next two minutes to gain a 70-64 with 2:34 left. North Florida extended the game with fouls in an attempt to come back, but failed as JU held on for an 80-72 win.
