Jazz Bond collected 18 points and 11 rebounds to fuel her fourth straight double-double, although a cruising FGCU (15-4, 6-0 ASUN) squad took advantage of 23 North Florida (7-11, 2-5 ASUN) turnovers in a 80-48 loss at Alico Arena Sunday, Jan. 27.

Inside the First Half
Both offenses started off slow, with FGCU scoring the game's first basket at the 8:09 mark in the first quarter. 10 more Eagles' points carved out a 12-0 advantage, although a Bond jump shot and buzzer-beating three-pointer cut the deficit to 14-7 at the end of the first horn.
10 second quarter turnovers turned into 12 FGCU points off such miscues in the second session. North Florida closed out the half shooting 7-of-16 after missing the opening eight shots of the game, although FGCU carried a 34-17 lead into the break.
Inside the Second Half
FGCU came out swinging in the second half, converting 67 percent of its shots and six three-pointers in the third quarter as it opened up its lead to 64-29. UNF responded with its own run in the fourth, tallying a 14-4 sequence that included a 9-0 run with the help of six points from Bond.
