Last Time Out
  • The 2018-19 chapter of the River City Rumble started off right for the Ospreys Tuesday night at the UNF Arena.
  • Four Ospreys hit at least .400, redshirt-sophomore Gabby O'Connell and senior Madilyn McCarty narrowly missed double-doubles and UNF held Jacksonville to a .142 hitting percentage as North Florida (6-13, 1-2 ASUN) swept the Dolphins (1-15, 0-4 ASUN).

Quadruple Option
  • UNF has four players in the ASUN who are in the top 10 in kills, the only team in the conference that can make that claim. It is also the only team with at least three players in the top ten as well, led by junior Taryn Griffey's 217, good for second in the league.

Can You Dig it?
  • Sophomore libero and defensive specialist, Callie Workman, has made the most of her recent opportunity at libero.
  • The Tallahassee native has posted at least 13 digs in each of her last five matches, including a career-high 20 digs in a 3-0 sweep of Bethune-Cookman September 18.

Setting the Table
  • Senior setter Madilyn McCarty surpassed 3,000 career assists Saturday, Sept. 22 against FGCU.
  • She is currently seventh all-time at UNF in assists and is second in the ASUN in assists (599).
  • The Springfield, Ill., native is averaging seven more assists in wins (35) than in losses (28). Only twice this season has she been held under 20 assists.

Wright's Words
"We are looking forward to playing two quality teams this weekend," head coach Kristen Wright said. "Each team is very different. Our focus will be on us. If we play with the tenacity and drive we've had in practice, coupled with sticking with our game plans, we'll have a very successful weekend."
