How it Happened
Thoughts From the Top
"Tonight's match was against a scrappy, solid Charleston team. I give all credit to our players and staff for putting in the work this week and the extra training last weekend from the cancellation of our match. They guys really came out and executed our game plan. I still think there's things we can improve on moving forward. Tonight's match was such a tight game and I felt like we got over that hump, and it's nice to get the result to go our way. It was unfortunate for them to tie it up on that rebound off the penalty kick, but our guys responded nicely. I am really happy with the contributions we got from everyone tonight, especially in the second half when we went deep into the bench. Now that we got the result, it's time to take that momentum and shift our focus onto Florida International this weekend." – head coach Derek Marinatos
