Union, N.J. – The North Florida Baseball team dropped a pair of decisions on Thursday to NJIT by score of 3-1 and 7-1 at Jim Hynes Stadium in ASUN play. 

LEADING OFF
- Blake Voyles paced the Osprey offense on Thursday as he went five-for-eight in the two games with an RBI in game two. 
- Mac Wilson had three base hits in game two and added one in the first game.
- Senior Matt Vaka matched his season-high with five shutout innings in game one while striking out three batters. 
- Frank German struck out six in game one and has struck out at least six in 12 of his 13 starts this season. 
- Wilson with hits in both games now has a team-high 11 game reached base streak. 

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME ONE
- In the second, the Highlanders struck for three runs to take an early 3-0 advantage. 
- UNF got on the board in the third after back-to-back singles from Matthias and Sequera, Board lined a single of his own back up the middle to give UNF its first run of the game. 

HOW IT HAPPENED GAME TWO
- NJIT got the offense going in the second inning with a pair of runs to take an early 2-0 lead.
- The Highlanders added a pair of runs in the third inning to take a 4-0 lead.
- In the sixth, Voyles got the Ospreys on the board with an RBI single to make it 4-1.
- The hosts added single runs in the sixth, seventh and eighth to pick up a 7-1 series win over UNF.
