Jacksonville, Fla. – The North Florida Baseball team was unable to overcome a three-run first from the Bisons as Lipscomb evened the series with a 6-5 win on Saturday at Harmon Stadium in ASUN play. 

LEADING OFF
- Prior to Saturday's game UNF honored it's seven seniors: James Fitzpatrick, Rey Gonzalez, Adam Polansky, Jay Stadius, Matt Vaka, Blake Voyles and Mac Wilson.
- Chris Berry led UNF's offense on Saturday with his 12th multi-hit game of the year. Berry has also reached base safely in 25 straight games. He also added a pair of the Ospreys RBI's.
- Austin Drury went 6.1 IP and did not factor in the decision as he gave up five hits and four runs but only one was earned. Drury also struck out five batters.
- With his lead off single in the fourth, Jay Prather extended his reached base streak to 33 straight games and also has a 15 game hit streak. Both marks are tops on the team currently.
- During his hit streak, Prather is hitting a team-high .323 with three doubles, two homers and a team-high 15 RBI.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Lipscomb got on the board in the opening frame as the Bisons took advantage of an early error from UNF to score three times and take the early 3-0 lead.
- In the second, North Florida got on the board with a Chris Matthias sacrifice fly to right that allowed Wilson to come into score and make it 3-1. 
- UNF tied the game in the fourth as Prather came in on a Lipscomb wild pitch followed quickly by a Berry double to the right-center gap to tie the game at three.
- The Ospreys took their first lead of the contest in the fifth with a Prather sacrifice fly to center that allowed Tanner Murphy to come into score and give UNF a 4-3 lead. 
- In the seventh, Lipscomb's Lee Solomon hit a shot to left field that tied the game back up at four apiece.
- In the next inning for the Bisons, they took a lead on a Osprey wild pitch and then Solomon once again hit his second of the contest and gave Lipscomb a 6-4 lead.
- Berry after Sequera's lead off triple cut the Bisons lead to 6-5 with an RBI single, but UNF got no closer as Lipscomb tied up the series with the 6-5 win.
