GAME 1 CAPSULE
- UNF got off to a fast start, scoring a run in the first inning. Penrod led off with a double before advancing on a passed ball and coming home on Cocuzza's double.
- In the second, Rindy Bryant started the inning with a single before moving over as Alex Arciola reached on an error. Both runners moved on a sac bunt before coming around on Niesman's double that barely missed going over the fence for a 3-0 lead.
- The Ospreys tacked on its final run when Penrod hit a single before stealing second. She then scored on Woodson's single down the line for the 4-0 advantage. Woodson extended her hitting streak to four games.
- It was all the Ospreys needed as Stetson only had four players reach base. The Hatters best chance came in the first when a runner reached third, but she was left stranded as Matzko forced a line out to end the threat.
