Box Score JACKSONVILLE – Top-seeded North Florida men's tennis took down Kennesaw State, 4-1, to advance to its sixth ASUN Championship game in seven years.

QUICK HITS
- North Florida is looking for its second ASUN Championship as it won the first in 2016 at USC Upstate.
- After a four-hour delay due to rain in the Jacksonville area overnight, the Ospreys hit the court for doubles and had no trouble grabbing the first match with a 6-0 win in the No. 2 doubles position.
- KSU evened the score with a 6-1 win at No. 3 before Lasse Muscheites and Jefta Kecic shut down the Owls for a 6-4 win in the No. 1 spot to secure the doubles point.
- Moving to singles, Muscheites put the home team up, 2-0, with his 6-1, 7-5 victory at No. 2 followed quickly by Sahil Deshmukh in No. 3 singles.
- Deshmukh battled 7-6 (7), 6-2 over Corey Smith - eerily similar to his regular season victory over Smith - to make it a 3-0 match.
- With match point on the line in the No. 4 spot, Kennesaw State's Bryan Triana was down 3-5 and 30-0 to Till Von Winning when Triana battled back to take the deuce point and force another game.
- Von Winning settled in though and forced a double-fault to make it a 40-30 game before the next ball was sent wide to clinch the match for the Ospreys.

"I'm really proud of the team. It was tough conditions today especially with the wind and being tournament time so there is lot more on the line than there usually is. But we found a way again like we did during the regular season so many times and overall we found a way to win. I am very proud of our team and let's do it again tomorrow." - Junior Till Von Winning
