Kennesaw, Ga. – The North Florida baseball team dropped a pair of games on Saturday to Kennesaw State, 10-6 and 7-5 at Stillwell Stadium in ASUN play.
LEADING OFF

Blake Voyles and
James Fitzpatrick led the Ospreys with two hits, both of which came in game two on Saturday.
- Fitzpatrick and Voyles both hit homers in game two, their third homers of the season.

Dalton Board drove in a career-high three runs in game one including his first homer of the season in the third inning.

Austin Drury in game two went 6.0 IP and struck out six in a no decision.

Jay Prather with hits in both games, extended his reached base streak to a team-high 22 games.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game One)
- After
Chris Berry reached third on an Owls fielding error, Board's sac fly brought in Berry to make it 1-0.
- KSU responded quickly with a solo homer to left to tie the game at one apiece.
- Board continued his strong day at the plate with a two run homer to right in the third to give UNF a 3-1 lead.
- The Owls once again answered with a three run homer to right center to take a 4-3 lead after three innings.
- Kennesaw State added a pair of runs in the sixth to make it 6-3.
- The Ospreys responded in the eighth with a three run inning as they drew a pair of bases loaded walks and a sac fly to tie the game at 6.
- KSU answered with four in the eighth though to put the game out of reach and give the Owls a 10-6 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game Two)

James Fitzpatrick got the Ospreys off to a quick start with a solo homer to deep left to get UNF off to a 1-0.
- The Ospreys extended their lead in the fourth with a pair of runs highlighted by Prather's RBI single to make it 3-0.
- KSU got on the board with a solo homer in its half of the fourth to make it 3-1.
- Voyles knocked his third homer of the season to right in the sixth to make it 4-1 Ospreys.
- The Owls added a run in the sixth and seventh inning to cut UNF's lead down to 4-3 after seven.
- The Ospreys responded quickly with an RBI single by
Alex Reynolds to make it 5-3.
- KSU answered once again with a four run eighth inning to give them a 7-5 win.
