- UNF got out to the early 1-0 lead as Prather's RBI groundout allowed Berry to come in to score.
- The Bulls responded quickly with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first.
- USF added a single run in the second and a pair of runs in the third inning to take a 5-1 lead.
- USF picked up a run in the sixth and eight innings to take a 7-1 win.
