Tampa, Fla. – The North Florida baseball team fell to USF, 7-1, on Tuesday night at the USF Baseball Stadium in Tampa. 

LEADING OFF
- Jay Prather, Blake Voyles and Max Law each had a pair of base hits to pace the Ospreys offense on Tuesday.
- Trace Norkus in 3.0 innings of relief matched his career-high with four strikeouts, while only allowing one unearned run.
- As a team, it was the first time since playing the Bulls at Harmon Stadium that the Ospreys pitching staff racked up 10 strikeouts as Eddie Miller and Norkus had four strikeouts apiece with starter Matt Vaka adding three. 
- Prather extended his reached base streak to a team-high 23 straight games with his fifth inning single.
- Chris Berry extended his reached base streak to 15 in a row with his seventh inning single. 


HOW IT HAPPENED
- UNF got out to the early 1-0 lead as Prather's RBI groundout allowed Berry to come in to score. 
- The Bulls responded quickly with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first.
- USF added a single run in the second and a pair of runs in the third inning to take a 5-1 lead.
- USF picked up a run in the sixth and eight innings to take a 7-1 win.

The Ospreys return to the diamond tomorrow afternoon with a 2 p.m. first pitch against Savannah State at Harmon Stadium.
