Kennesaw, Ga. – The North Florida baseball team fell to Kennesaw State, 3-2, on Friday night at Stillwell Stadium in ASUN play.
LEADING OFF
- Four Ospreys had base hits in the contest with
Chris Berry and
Jay Prather driving in the lone runs for UNF.

Frank German threw his first career complete game while matching a season-high with nine strikeouts.
- Prather has now reached base safely in 20 straight games, while Berry and
Tanner Murphy extended their streaks to 12 in a row.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Ospreys got the offense going first in the third inning when after a
Raff Libunao double down the left field, Berry's RBI single to right gave UNF a 1-0 lead.
- The Owls responded with two in the fourth to take a 2-1 lead.
- In the sixth, UNF after an
Alex Reynolds walk and
Rey Gonzalez reached on an error, Prather went the other way with an RBI single to left to make it a tie game at two.
- Kennesaw State though responded with a run in the bottom of the seventh to give them a 3-2 series opening win.
