GAME CAPSULE
- North Florida got on the board early with a sac fly from Tiffany Lower to bring in Navia Penrod who earned a walk to open the game.
- Both sides stayed quiet through the next four innings until UCF got things going in the fifth. The Knights capitalized on three hits and three errors to take a 4-1 lead.
- In the seventh, UCF added one run to its lead before UNF tried to rally in the seventh.
- A single from Rindy Bryant put a runner aboard before moving on a passed ball. Alex Aricola then singled to left for two runners on.
- A fly out and a fielder's choice put two outs up, but the Ospreys had some heads up base running as Kayla McGory hit a deep ball to shortstop. The fielder grabbed it and sent it to first base who couldn't make the catch and allowed the inning to continue and a run to score for a 5-2 game.
- With runners now on first and third with two outs, Dominica Cocuzza stepped to the plate to single to right field and bring in another run.
- Unfortunately it was not enough as Alea White sat the final batter down with a ground out.
- White moved to 21-10 on the year with seven hits, three walks and four strikeouts.
- Sydney Matzko (11-15) pitched the complete game, surrendering seven hits, one earned run, two walks and three strikeouts.
