JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida baseball team won the weekend series against UConn with a 4-2 victory on Sunday at Harmon Stadium.
LEADING OFF
- Mac Wilson extended his reached base streak to 11-straight games to lead the team.
- Trace Norkus collected the first save of the year for the Ospreys
- UNF had all nine batters come to the plate in the sixth inning. The Ospreys also had all nine bat in the first inning of Saturday's matchup.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the third inning, Chase Gardner attempted to pick off Tanner Murphy at first base. Murphy got caught in a rundown between first and second that allowed James Fitzpatrick to score from third base.
- UConn took the lead in the fourth inning on an error from the Ospreys and a sacrifice fly from Troy Stefanski.
- Dalton Board tied the game in the sixth inning with a single up the middle that brought home Wilson from second.
- UNF plated the winning runs on fielding and throwing errors from the Huskies second baseman that allowed Chris Berry and Board to score.
