GAME 1 CAPSULE
- After a leadoff walk from Navia Penrod, sophomore Kayla McGory hit a double to bring in the Ospreys' lone run of the game.
- Abigail Green (10-4) then held UNF to just one more hit, while striking out eight in the win.
- Kennesaw State tied the game in the second on back-to-back hits.
- The Owls then took the lead with a two-run fifth inning before adding on more in the sixth.
- Amanda Blanchard (5-2) tossed the complete game, surrendering six hits, three earned runs, while striking out three in the loss.
GAME 2 CAPSULE
- Senior Ashley Niesman has the lone hit of the game in the second of the day.
- Allie Cutting (8-6) struck out 12 batters en route to her shutout.
- Kennesaw State scored all five runs in the first inning on four hits including a grand slam from Maddie Roth.
- Junior Dominica Cocuzza also reached base on a walk for the Ospreys.
- After the first inning, Sydney Matzko settled in, but the Osprey offense could not make up the difference. Matzko finished with eight hits, four walks and five strikeouts.
