JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida baseball team split a double header with Fairfield, 16-12 and 5-1, on Saturday at Harmon Stadium.
LEADING OFF

Mac Wilson extended his reached base streak to 15-straight games to lead the Ospreys.

Tanner Murphy also extended his hitting streak to eight-straight games and leads the team.

Frank German collected his first win of the year and struck out eight batters in the process, the most by a UNF pitcher in a single game this season.
- In his return,
Blake Voyles went 5-for-10 with three runs scored and three RBIs on the day.
- Five Osprey hitters produced a multi-hit game in the first matchup of the day.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game One)
- Fairfield jumped on the scoreboard in the first inning on a groundout RBI.
- Voyles opened the second inning off with a triple to right center before
Chris Berry singled to the right side that tied the game at 1-1.
- Later in the inning,
Alex Reynolds cleared the bases with a triple to right center that plated
Rey Gonzalez, Berry and
Raff Libunao.
- The Ospreys closed their scoring in the second off an error by the Stags.
- Fairfield put up crooked numbers with four runs in the third inning, two in the fourth, two in the fifth and six in the seventh.
- Jack Gethings drove in Tyler Gambardelia in the ninth for the Stags final run of the game.
- In UNF's final frame, Volyes reached on a fielder's choice that scored
Dalton Board.
- Libunao then singled to the right side that drove in
Mac Wilson before Gonzalez walked and brought home Voyles.

Jay Prather cleared the bases with a double to right center that scored Libunao, Berry and Gonzalez.
- The Ospreys ended their scoring on a single from Board that plated Prather.
HOW IT HAPPENED (Game Two)
- Voyles jump started the UNF offense in the fifth inning with a single up the middle that brought home
Abraham Sequera.
- Later in the fifth,
Alex Hendricks drove in Board on a double to left field.
- Drew Blake scored Fairfield's only run of the game on a home run to right field.
- Voyles struck again in the seventh with an RBI single to left field that scored Wilson. He later scored on an error by the Stags.
- Murphy drove in the final run of the game on a double to left field that plated Board.
