Lasse Muscheites was the lone Osprey to pick up a win against LSU as North Florida men's tennis dropped a 6-1 decision to the Tigers on Friday evening at the LSU Tennis Complex

- Muscheites was ahead for most of his match in the first set before it went to 5-all in the No. 2 spot. The senior pulled out the final two games for the 7-5 win. In the second set, Muscheites had no problem sitting Gabor Csonka down as the Osprey won, 6-1.

Till Von Winning took the opening set in the No. 4 position, but could not maintain his game as LSU took the next two sets.

Jefta Kecic battled in the second frame to take a win and almost took it all, but LSU's Shane Monroe came back with a 7-5 win in the final set.
- The doubles matches were extremely close in every position, but the home team grabbed wins at the No. 1 and No. 3 position to take a 1-0 lead.
COACH LUCAS SAYS
"Disappointing result today on the road at LSU. Right now we have too many peaks and valleys with our effort, and that's just not acceptable. That is something these guys can control. We have another opportunity Sunday at South Alabama so hopefully this loss hurts and we will have a better collective effort in Mobile."
