Kayla McGory hit a sac fly for the win in game one against Providence, before the Ospreys scratched across three runs against UT Arlington on Saturday at Atlantic Coast High School.

TOP PERFORMERS
- Senior Amanda Blanchard recorded a shutout with just two hits given up against Providence to more to 2-0 on the season.
- In game two, Sydney Matzko tossed a complete game to even her record to 2-2.
- At th eplate, Tiffany Lower totaled three hits, one RBI and a run scored.
- Three others had two hits on the day with McGory recorded two RBI on the day.
GAME 1 CAPSULE
- The first seven innings left a combined 10 runners on base as neither offense could get anything going.
- Providence tried to score in the eighth with two on in scoring position with no outs, but Blanchard forced three outs to go to the Ospreys' side of the frame.
- After Taylor Scott's sac bunt moved the runner to third, Megan Woodson came around to score on Kayla McGory's sac fly to left field to get the win.
- Blanchard struck out five with just two hits, while the Friars' Christina Ramirez allowed just three hits and five walks, while fanning five.
- Blanchard had a one-hitter through the seven innings and picked up her second win of the weekend.
GAME 2 CAPSULE
- The Ospreys scattered 10 hits in the win, plating runs in the third, fourth and fifth.
- In the third, a dropped foul ball prolonged Taylor Scott's at bat and on the next pitch she sent a single up the middle to bring in the first run.
- Lower hit an RBI single in the fourth to bring in Alex Aricola who started the inning with a single of her own.
- After a quick out, Navia Pendrod sent a 1-0 pitch to right center for a double. On a ground out she moved over before coming around to score on a perfectly placed bunt that the Mavericks could not field in time to end the inning.
- UTA left six runners stranded including three in scoring position.
- The Mavericks best chance came in the third when back-to-back singles put runners on second and third, but Matzko got the final batter to pop up to end the theat.

- Scott is now on a four-game hit streak.
- Blanchard struck out 11 total batters on the weekend as she recorded the win on Saturday against Canisius.
