Ospreys Fall to Radford in Late Innings

The Short Story: Radford scored six-straight runs in the final three innings as it topped the North Florida baseball team, 12-6, on Saturday at Harmon Stadium.

LEADING OFF
- The Ospreys plated six-consecutive runs, three in the third and three in the fourth, to tie the game at 6-6 before Radford responded with six more.
- Alex Reynolds led UNF going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and a run scored.
- Wesley Weeks and Raff Libuano each had two hits in the game.
- Mac Wilson has reached base in six of his eight changes the first two games.
- UNF notched 11 hits in the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
- The Highlanders opened scoring with a two-run home run to left field by Andrew Szamski.
- In the second inning, Radford doubled its score when Adam Whitacre singled up the middle to plated two runners.
- Kyle Butler drove in another run with a single to right center field to end the scoring in the second.
- Matt Roth grounded into a double play, but scored Szamski in the process to put the Highlanders ahead 6-0.
- Reynolds put UNF on the scoreboard with a three-run blast to right center field that hit the light pole and drove in Max Lax and Abraham Sequera.
- Tanner Murphy cut into the lead with a single to left field that scored Wilson.
- The Ospreys got within a run when Chris Berry singled up the middle, bringing Libuano home.
- Law tied the game in the fourth inning with a single to the left side of the field that plated Murphy.
- Radford ended the game with two runs in the seventh, a run in the eighth and three runs in the ninth.
