3,000, Now 2,000
After surpassing 3,000 career assists earlier this season, senior setter Madilyn McCarty is nearing another milestone. The Springfield, Ill., native is just two assists shy of 2,000 in the Navy and Gray after compiling 1,229 as a freshman at Winthrop. McCarty posted 54 assists at North Alabama last Sunday, two shy of her career high and tied for her highest total in 2018. She is currently second in the ASUN in assists (757).

Five-Set Streak
The Ospreys have had five matches go five sets this season. After dropping the first two contests, UNF has rattled off three-straight wins in matches that have gone to the limit. That streak has featured wins against North Dakota, San Jose State and North Alabama.

Wright's Words
"Confidence comes from preparation, and I think that we've had a really good week of preparing on and off the court. It's really going to come down to executing our game plans as well as the serve and pass. All of us [UNF, FGCU and Liberty] are pretty good offensively, but if you can't pass the ball and you're not making it easy for them at the service line, you can't execute offensively. If we do that our offense is great and can beat anybody. Being in system is key, as is taking care of the ball out of system."
