LAST WORD
"Give them credit because they came out with the energy and for lack of a better term, they punched us in the mouth and we didn't recover. We came out in the second half and fought and competed. However, when you get down 27 it makes it very, very difficult. We cut it to 16 with about 8 minutes to go, but you can't get down that big and expect to be on the road against the number one team in the league and decide when you're going to play. You have to play from the get go. They had the energy and they had the effort and it showed." Head coach Matthew Driscoll

NEXT UP
North Florida hosts in-state foe Stetson on Saturday (Feb. 3) in the squad's lone game in the next 10 days.
