LAST WORD
"It is amazing to see these guys continue to grow, continue to learn and continue to persevere. Most importantly it was great to see that resiliency again to finish that one though not as cleanly as we would have liked. To go 22-of-29 from the free throw line and shoot 64 percent from the field was nice to see. They kind of punched us in the mouth making some threes in the second half that we did a bad job with coverage on. To our guys credit, they battled, and that's tough to do in a league game the second time around . Nobody in this league is ever going to quit or not come to play, so this continues to be something our inexperienced group will need to keep figuring out. The second time through, the teams are going to be prepared and make some adjustments on how to attack us. Noah and Wajid getting double-doubles is a tremendous feat and Ivan did some good things and made some adjustments from his video sessions. It was a great team effort." -- Head coach Matthew Driscoll
