SAY WHAT
"Even though we didn't get the result we wanted, I liked the way we competed and generated opportunities. We just have to do a better job at taking advantage of them." - Head Coach Darrick Gibbs.

GAME CAPSULE
First Half Trends
  • North Florida went out front early with a 6-2 lead before the team's traded baskets with Stetson taking a 13-12 advantage with 2:35 left in the quarter.
  • A traditional three-point play from Farmer gave the Ospreys a 15-13 lead with the time ticking down, but Brittney Chambers came down to to score and make it a 15-all game after one.
  • In the second, both teams continued to score and an Elli Bartley triple tied the game at 21-all, but it was the final UNF field goal for the next six minutes.
  • Stetson went on a 6-0 run and eventually took a 10-point lead while holding North Florida to 2-for-15 for the remaining six minutes of the half.
  • The Ospreys ended their drought with back-to-back buckets to close the gap back to single digits giving the Hatters a 34-28 lead at half.

Second Half Trends
  • Back-to-back three-pointers and a pair of makes from the line gave Stetson its biggest lead of the game to that point, 42-31, at 7:49 in the third.
  • A pair of makes from the free throw line from Tesh Hanson brought the Ospreys to within seven - the closest it would get for the rest of the game - but the Ospreys came up empty in the final two minutes of the frame as the Hatters led 50-41.
  • Farmer kicked off the final quarter with a jumper, but from there Stetson went on a 9-0 run to take its bigest lead of the game, 59-43 and never looked back.
  • Both teams had to deal with a delay of game due to a power outage in the arena, and the time down helped UNF as it hit back-to-back triples from Tolbert and Bartley, but from there North Florida made just two baskets in the final three minutes of play.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
  • It was Farmer's 12th time leading in scoring and she has now scored in double figures in 16 of the last 18 games.
  • Stetson shot 40 percent from the field, while UNF went just 28 percent on 18-for-64 from the floor. The 28 percent is the second lowest of the season for UNF.
  • Junior Arianna Emanuel-Wright pulled down seven boards with five points. It was her sixth game with five or more boards.
  • The Ospreys made double figure free throws for the 14th time this season as they were 14-for-20 from the line.
