FIVE THINGS TO KNOW
>> UNF's last win at USC Upstate (Jan. 16, 2017) snapped a 10-game losing streak AT Hodge Center. The Ospreys had previously not won in Spartanburg since Feb. 9, 2002.
>> Last time against the Spartans, senior Tesh Hanson went off with 27 points and 12 rebounds en route to being named the ASUN Player & Newcomer of the Week.
>> Senior Keonna Farmer has scored in double figures in 13 of the last 14 games including back-to-back 20-point games against KSU and Lipscomb.
>> A win would tie the 2015-16 squad with a 2-2 outing to start conference play. UNF has only been 2-2 to start ASUN play four times in program history.
>> Junior guard Ty Purifoy stands at just 5-1 and is one of the shortest Division I players in the country. Marshall, Michigan State, Stonybrook and Seton Hall all have one player 5-1 or below.

AN OSPREY WIN ON MONDAY WOULD...
- Be the 335th win in program history
- Be Head Coach Gibbs 26th win
- Be the third straight win against the Spartans
- Be just the second win at Hodge Center since 2002

ON THIS DAY
North Florida has only played on January 20th once during its Division I history and is 3-3 on this day overall. UNF played in OT at Kennesaw State in 2007 where it lost to the Owls.

LAST TIME VS USC UPSTATE
  • Six players scored in double figures against USC Upstate when the Spartans came to Jacksonville last season.

  • The Ospreys shot 42 percent from the field and went 14-of-16 from the line.
