Farmer Records Double-Double at Wofford

SPARTANBURG, S.C. - North Florida women's basketball had two sluggish quarters which put the Ospreys behind as Wofford went on to win, 69-57, on Monday afternoon at Richardson Indoor Stadium.

The Short Story: North Florida scored in single digits in the second and third quarters and allowed Wofford to jump out in front in the second and the hosts never looked back, holding a double-figure lead for the remainder of the game.

  • Senior Keonna Farmer led the team in scoring for the seventh time with 16 points and 10 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season.
  • Off the bench, Arianna Emanuel-Wright chipped in 13 points for her third double-digit performance of the season.

First Half Trends
  • The teams traded baskets in the early goings of the game before back-to-back baskets from Emanuel-Wright gave UNF a 12-6 lead.
  • Late in the frame, a Wofford triple brought the hosts to within one, but Farmer answered back for a 16-13 lead after one.
  • Farmer opened the second with trey, but the Terriers responded with two straight threes to take control of the quarter.
  • Wofford closed out the second quarter on a 14-1 run to take a 28-22 lead into halftime.

  • It was the first time in program history that the Ospreys played on New Year's Day.
