MIAMI, Fla. – The North Florida men's soccer team suffered a 5-0 defeat to FIU on Wednesday night at FIU Soccer Stadium.
The Ospreys fell to 1-6-1 on the season, while the Panthers improved to 4-0-3 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening minute, Nembhard collected a rebound off a UNF defender and found the back of the net in the right corner.
- Six minutes later, Campoy took a shot that was initially saved by the North Florida goalie before Patino collected the rebound and extended the lead.
- Josh Castellanos had an opportunity for the Ospreys when he dribbled through two defenders before ripping a shot that was saved by the FIU keeper.
- Ahlinvi grew the Panthers lead less than 10 minutes before halftime on a penalty kick.
- Less than 10 minutes into the second half, the Panthers found the back of the net again. Campoy sent a cross into the 18-yard box off a free kick that was finished in the right corner by Giovine.
- Campoy scored the final goal of the game off a breakaway.

"Credit to FIU. They are a very talented attacking team that jumped on us from the opening whistle. Giving up two goals inside the first six minutes was a back breaker. From there on we were chasing the game. We will look to regroup and prepare for FGCU, another key conference matchup on Saturday night."
