The Short Story: The Ospreys scored six unanswered runs and scattered 12 hits as UNF topped Florida Gulf Coast, 8-2, on Saturday at Harmon Stadium. UNF sets a DI school record with a 9-2 ASUN conference start.

LEADING OFF

HOW IT HAPPENED 
- Richie Garcia started the scoring with a home run to left center for FGCU.
- Yahir Gurrola led off the fourth inning with a double down the left field line before moving to third on a ground out by Merritt. Berry drove a single to right field that scored Gurrola to tie the game.
- Wesley Weeks scored on a sacrifice fly from Berry to give UNF the lead... Rey Gonzalez singled up the middle that scored Diaz.
- Merrit provided an base hit single to the left side that drove in Thibideau and Gurrola.
- Julio had a sacrifice fly to right field that scored Spencer Levine.
- Thibideau stroked a double to left center that plated Tanner Murphy and Chris Matthias.
