The Short Story: The North Florida baseball team completed a 6-5 walk off win over Florida A&M, in part to a two out double from Mac Wilson down the left field line that plated Dalton Board in the bottom of the ninth inning. Prior to Wilson's double, James Fitzpatrick struck out swinging, but reached base due to a wild pitch.

LEADING OFF 
- The Ospreys recorded their first walk off of the season with the win.
- UNF advanced to an 18-1 all time record against FAMU.
- The Ospreys started the game on a hot streak, scoring three runs in the first inning. They also ended the game with a run in each of the last two innings.
- As a team, UNF scattered 10 hits and left 13 runners on base.
- Wilson hit a perfect 3-for-3, including the game winning hit, with a run scored and an RBI, coming in as a substitute for UNF... Chris Thibideau also recorded a multi-hit game going 2-for-5.
- The Rattlers were able to get out of a bases loaded jam in the third inning with one out.
- The Ospreys ended the top of the ninth inning on a double play with the bases loaded.
- With one hit, Patrick Ervin owns the team's longest current hit streak of eight games... Wesley Weeks, who accounted for one of the team's hits, also has hit safely in eight games.

HOW IT HAPPENED 
- Yahir Gurrola singled up the middle then advanced to second on the throw, while moving Patrick Ervin to third. The duo then scored on a wild pitch.
- Alex Merritt reached base on an error before advancing to second on a wild pitch. Chris Berry ended the scoring in the first inning with an RBI single to center field.
- The Rattlers picked up a run in the fourth inning on a groundout from Will McDaniel.
- UNF responded with a run of its own on an RBI single to right field from Merritt that brought home Ervin.
- FAMU tied the game with a three-run sixth inning, where they scored a run on a fielder's choice and a groundout.
- Brian Davis gave the Rattlers their only lead of the game in the eighth inning when he scored on a wild pitch.
- Ervin led the bottom half of the eighth inning off with a double to left center field. Merriff recorded his second RBI of the game with a groundout that tied the game at 5-5.
- Wilson drove in the winning run with a double down the left field line, scoring Board from first base.

WHAT'S NEXT
The Ospreys continue their current home stand with a three-game ASUN series against NJIT starting Thursday at 6 p.m. UNF and NJIT will also square off on Friday at 4 p.m. and Noon (12 p.m.) on Saturday.
